Golf at Minnesota National

Experience golf in Minnesota as it was meant to be. Minnesota National is a Northern Minnesota 27 hole Joel Goldstrand Masterpiece. With five sets of tees on every hole and stretching to a magnificent 7,200 yards, our Championship Course has something to offer all levels of golfers. The championship course has meticulously maintained bentgrass fairways, tees and greens, and Ohio white sand bunkers. Each hole will make you feel like you are out on the course all alone, except you will be surrounded by the abundant wildlife and beauty that is native to Northern Minnesota.

Also stop in for a quick 9-holes on our Savanna Course. With a par of 33 that can be played to 2,500 yards, the course is great for the family, a fun late nine or a way to hone your wedge skills, Savanna is truly a course that can be enjoyed by all levels.

All of our carts have state-of-the-art GPS systems and our course provides you with continuous cart paths winding through our beautiful facility.

Our Clubhouse at Minnesota National Golf Course offers everything you need from tee-off to post round beverage, and is the ultimate 19th Hole.

Clubhouse

The grand 20,000 square foot clubhouse features 40 foot open beam ceilings, 5 stone fireplaces, 2 bars and 4 event venues with media.

Golf Shop

To meet all your golf equipment and apparel needs while at Minnesota National, we continuously stock our Golf Shop. In our shop you can comfortably browse through all sorts of clubs, equipment and golf accessories. You will also find a wide assortment of garments ranging from shirts, pullovers, rain gear, golf gloves, hats, shorts, and socks for both men and women.

Policies & Information

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

Reservations can be made in person or by calling 218.426.4444 Ext 1. All tee times must be guaranteed with a credit card. Notice of cancellation or reduction in number of players must be made 24 hours in advance of tee time (48 hours in advance for groups reserving 3 or more tee times) or card holder will be charged.

Attire

Proper golf attire is to be worn by all players and should be consistent with currently accepted golf fashion. Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort reserves the right to interpret this regulation as it relates to acceptable golf shirts that clearly differentiate from tee shirts.
  • Shorts must be of Bermuda length. No gym shorts are allowed. No halter-tops, tank tops, muscle shirts, cut-off shirts or shorts are allowed.
  • No metal spikes are allowed.

Rain Checks

During inclement weather conditions, cancellations will be accepted up until the scheduled time to play. Rainy weather itself may not dictate the closing of the course.
  • Rain checks will be issued at the discretion of the Golf Shop for holes not completed due to inclement weather. Rain checks will not be issued to those players who choose to start their round while it is raining and want to come in mid-way through their round. Refunds will not be given nor will rain checks be taken in payment for retail items or food and beverage.
  • Rain Checks will not be issued for any Twilight Tee times as these are reduced rates.

Pace of Play

Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort will make every effort to ensure that all golfers enjoy their round by maintaining an acceptable pace of play. Two hours and 10 minutes per nine holes is expected playing time. Play of more than four golfers per group is not permitted, unless approved by Golf Shop staff. Golf shop starter reserves the right to fill foursome starting times.

General Information

  • Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort is a soft spike only facility.
  • All players must pay in full before they will be allowed on the golf course.
  • Each player must have their own set of clubs.
  • Minnesota National Golf Club & Resort strictly prohibits carry-on coolers or any other personal food and beverage. All refreshments must be purchased from Minnesota National.
  • To operate golf carts players must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Anyone in violation of these policies may be asked to return to the clubhouse and may result in dismissal from property with no refund.
